OUTREACH & AWARENESS
The SFHTTF personnel conduct outreach, conferences, and training across South Florida to law enforcement partners, local Miami-based consular officials, prosecutors, social service providers, and other partners on trafficking indicators, case initiation, human trafficking referrals, victim-centered investigations and immigration relief available to trafficking victims.

Below you’ll find several national organizations and government agencies that have created awareness materials that you can access for free.

National Human Trafficking Hotline: This is a national campaign created by the National Human Trafficking Hotline. These resources include the NHTH phone number and do not require tips are shared with law enforcement (except in cases of mandatory reporting such as elder or child abuse).

Department of Homeland Security Blue Campaign: This is a national campaign created by the Dept. of Homeland Security Blue Campaign. These resources include contact information for the ICE hotline as well as the National Human Trafficking Hotline. You can request print copies of their materials for free.

Department of Health and Human Services: This national campaign is called “Look Beneath the Surface”.

Department of State: This national campaign is called “Know Your Rights” and focuses on foreign national guest workers or temporary visa holders traveling to the United States.

Department of Justice: This national campaign is called “Faces of Human Trafficking”. It includes fact sheets, videos, and posters.
