Episode 5: Housing Options for Adult Survivors in Miami

In this Episode, Task Force Talks talk to the Phoenix Program and Embrace House in Miami to learn more about the residential services they are providing for adult survivors of human trafficking.

Access to appropriate housing for adults survivors of human trafficking continues to be an on-going obstacle for providers and survivors themselves nationwide. Housing options for adults are limited in most communities. Often times, attention and resources are prioritized for minor victims through existing community systems. However, in Miami, access to appropriate housing specific for adult human trafficking survivors has been a priority.

A special thank you to our guest speakers, Zunamy Marques, Project Phoenix Case Manager, and Maria Santa Maria, Director of Embrace House.
